Shree Maruti Courier was founded in 1985 in Porbandar, Gujarat — the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi — by entrepreneur Mr. Rambhai H. Mokariya, who started the company as “Maruti Travel & Cargo.” It was incorporated as a Private Limited Company in November 1987. From a company serving just four cities in the Saurashtra region, Shree Maruti has grown into one of India’s top 5 domestic courier companies, reporting a revenue of ₹1,930 crore in FY2024.
Today, the company is led by Ajay Mokariya (son of the founder), who joined as a delivery associate in 2003 and grew the business with an asset-light, zero-debt philosophy.
