Delhivery was founded in May 2011 by Sahil Barua, Mohit Tandon, Bhavesh Manglani, Suraj Saharan, and Kapil Bharati in Gurugram. It started as a hyperlocal express delivery service in Delhi-NCR and rapidly scaled into a full-stack logistics platform. In May 2022, Delhivery became publicly listed on BSE and NSE (BSE: 543529), raising ₹5,235 crore in one of India’s largest logistics IPOs.
Today, Delhivery is India’s largest integrated logistics company covering 18,850+ PIN codes — roughly 99.5% of India’s addressable geography. In 2025, Delhivery acquired Ecom Express, significantly strengthening last-mile delivery capacity. Delhivery operates 25+ automated sorting centres, 100+ hubs, 4,500+ direct delivery centres, and a fleet of 15,000+ vehicles. The company is ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 27001:2022 certified.

Delhivery is known for competitive pricing especially for eCommerce businesses. Charges are based on actual or volumetric weight, whichever is higher. Rates below are approximate retail estimates; contracted rates are 15–30% lower.

Fuel surcharge
Dynamic surcharge of approx. 10–14% on base freight, revised monthly
Volumetric weight (kg) = (Length cm × Width cm × Height cm) ÷ 5000
Example: A 40×30×20 cm box weighing 1 kg → volumetric weight = 4.8 kg → you are billed for 4.8 kg.
